from the station on food
- procede straight on oppsite the station, taking the pedestrian precinct street "Georges Clémenceau",
- turn left on "Aimé Ramon" street,
- cross over the boulevard "C. Pelletan,
- take the "rue du Pont Vieux", over the old bridge (with a view of the "Cité"!!!)
- carry straight on ahead into the "rue Trivalle",
- then turn left on "rue G. Nadaud" (the climb now begins!)
- you will eventually come to the Narbonne Gate (main entrance to the "Cité")
- The hostel is in the "rue Trencavel", on the left at the top of the main street (rue Cros Mayrevieille)

- from motorway, take the exit n°24 "Carcassonne Est", follow signs "La Cité"
- from the main road N113, follow signs "La Cité"
- then follow signs for "parking client hotel" (free of charge)
You must indicate to the warden that you are staying at the Youth Hostel; the Hostel will then give you a pass.
(for the security of your belongings, it is preferable to unload the car.)
